Ann Taylor Leopard Jacquard Dress- Gold or Silver

Ann Taylor black leopard dress / LOFT shoes / Zara moccasin / Clutch / Dorothy Perkins metallic purse, $24 / Michael Kors watch / MICHAEL Michael Kors tortoise shell hoop earrings / Stella & Dot earrings

When I laid eyes on this Ann Taylor dress, I instantly thought, this is so versatile, I could wear this with gold or silver.  So, I figured it would be a perfect time to show you how.  I'm in the process of becoming a Stella & Dot Stylist and I have these gorgeous black and gold earrings on my sample list to bring to parties.  So excited!  I'm loving these Zara flats as well!  Can't wait to pick these up next payday
Which is your favorite look, gold or silver?

Spring Brights and Stripes

Spring Brights and Stripes

J.Crew long sleeve top / Aéropostale long sleeve shirt / J.Crew cotton skirt / Chinese Laundry rubber shoes / Dorothy Perkins leopard print handbag / Orange necklace

In hopes of Spring coming sooner than later, I found some items from JCrew that were on sale that had a Spring feel to them.  Any fun colored pencil skirt can be paired with a chambray shirt and chunky necklace and would be work-ready.  Stay tuned for my next post on another cute pencil skirt I found on sale!

Boucle and Chambray

Boucle and Chambray

Aéropostale woven shirt / Forever 21 / H&M leather pumps, $47 / Dorothy Perkins leopard bag / Givenchy faux pearl necklace

This boucle skirt is from Forever21, for $9.99.... I couldn't believe it when I saw the price... then I found this super cute leopard purse.  Trend it up with some chambray, add some bright red nails and some pearls and you are ready for your workday. This would look cute with a trench coat and rain boots for your commute too.

RACHEL Rachel Roy "Zip Top Tote"

RACHEL Rachel Roy "Zip Top Tote"

Button down shirt / J.Crew slim fit shirt / LOFT pencil skirt / GAP tall jeans / Dorothy Perkins high heels / Steve Madden ballet flat / Tote bag / Forever 21 square bracelet / Kendra Scott / Metal jewelry

Totes are hot this season, and when I saw the RACHEL Rachel Roy "Totally Transparent Zip Top Tote" in the latest issue of InStyle, (available at Macy's.com with free shipping, other select handbags are on Sale 40% off) I just had to style it.  2 ideas that came to mind right away, one for work and one for weekend wear.  With Spring around the corner, I chose a bright pink pencil skirt, and some floral heels.  But, since it's the weekend and snow is everywhere, I kept it real and chose a turtleneck and boyfriend jeans.  Keepin it simple, yet stylish with emerald Kendra Scott earrings.
How else would you style this hot Tote??

What to wear with.... Orange heels

What to wear with.... Orange heels

STEFFEN SCHRAUT cap sleeve shirt / Burberry tailored shirt / Dorothy Perkins knit sweater / Herringbone jacket / Dorothy Perkins ponte skirt, $16 / Ann Taylor slim fit pants / Circa Joan & David / MICHAEL Michael Kors michael kors tote bag, $510 / Chloé two tone jewelry, $510 / Kate Spade photo engraved jewelry / C. Wonder yellow gold jewelry

I was asked for ideas on what to pair with burnt orange heels.  The first thing I thought of was no BLACK!  That automatically makes me think of Halloween!.... I would stick to more warm colors.  Maroon, oxblood, olive green, tan, brown, etc.  The outfit on the left is a dressy option for work.  Olive green herringbone blazer for $44, creme blouse and oxblood pencil skirt.  On the right is more casual, for work or play.  A plaid button down with that hint of orange in the pattern, and the corduroy pants color from Loft is called Deep Veranda, its a deep green and would work perfectly.  I would throw on a creme colored sweater if you don't want a ton of plaid showing.  I kept the accessories simple... you want to let the shoes do the popping for these outfits.
Hope this helps suggest some ideas on what to wear with these shoes!
Have a great Xmas everyone!!!!

Gym Holiday Party

Gym Holiday Party

Zara short dress / Old Navy jersey top / GAP low rise jeans / GAP opaque stocking / Vince Camuto platform booties / Lipstik black strappy sandals, $84 / ALDO handbag / Dorothy Perkins / GUESS jewelry / Gorjana jewelry / Long earrings

Depending on if you want to go more casual or a little dressier, I thought of 2 ideas.  Sequins are big right now, so this silver sweater from Old Navy for $24 is a no brainer!  Pair it with some boyfriend jeans, and some dressy stilettos, and you have yourself a super cute outfit for your Gym Holiday party!
If you want to be a little more dressy, this Zara dress with a gold chain necklace def makes a statement.  "I don't always wear tank tops and sports bras, I can clean up pretty dang nice outside the gym".  Black tights and black booties for winter and statement clutch.... HOT!
Let me know what you're thinking about wearin!!

Oxblood shoes- Dressy/Casual

Oxblood shoes- Dressy/Casual

Shirts blouse / Faux fur vest / H&M , $32 / Jolt / Forever 21 pointy boots / Dorothy Perkins clutch handbag, $24 / H&M / GUESS / Tory Burch / Nina pearl necklace

During fashion week we saw a lot of the faux fur vests on the runway.  I found one that is decently priced at $69 from Macy's.  I feel like if you try to get one under $50 it will really look/feel super cheap. $69 doesn't break the bank for something we're not sure is a lasting trend.  I paired this with the new hotness color for fall, oxblood.  The name is gross, but the color is FAB! You can totally cas-down this outfit even more with white long sleeve T, a pair of Toms and lose all the jewelry except the watch.

Coral and Navy

Coral and Navy

Pocket shirt / Ponte knit blazer / Navy blue pencil skirt / Dorothy Perkins snake print heels / Oasis ballet shoes flat, $45 / Zipper bag / Stella & Dot jewelry / ASOS spike jewelry / MICHAEL Michael Kors gold button earrings

This outfit might be one of my favorites. It's perfect for work, (as I work in a corporate setting), but I still can show my personality through a bright color and fun pump, with a little rocker jewelry.  All paired together, yet not too much.  I held back from adding a statement necklace, instead used these fun bangle/cuffs. I'm a fan of this navy purse too... might have to be a Xmas gift, from me to me! HA

Now if only hubby would read any of my posts, he easily would have my Xmas/Bday wishlist right in front of him to pick from! :)  But, I can only dangle the carrot so much......... :/

No letting go of the maxi!

No letting go of the maxi!

Halter dress / J.Crew knit cardigan / AllSaints slim fit t shirt / INC International Concepts closed toe shoes / Madewell ballet shoes / Dorothy Perkins shoulder handbag / ASOS oversized watch / Crystal jewelry / Metal jewelry / Wet Seal braided belt

Going through my closets (yes I said closets, plural) I tried to pick out some outfits that I can wear one last time before putting away until next summer.  I picked my black maxi dress to wear this week.  I don't have many meetings and it will be more laid back then normal since Monday was Labor Day.  After styling it this way above, it made me realize that I can even get a few more wears by pairing it with fall items as we move into Fall.  More ways to style this Maxi coming soon!

How would you rock your maxi into Fall??

Brunch date

Brunch date

This weekend I plan on meeting up with a girlfriend, we'll probably grab something to eat.  I thought this would be the perfect outfit for a brunch date.  Fun, yet still casual, but looks like you put some effort into it. All items besides the watch are under $100.

Happy Friday!
