Our anniversary is Memorial Day weekend and we are heading to Cape Cod! We're so excited to get away, much needed! We're going to rent bikes to ride around Hyannis, maybe take the speed ferry to Nantucket for a day and eat some awesome seafood!! I'm starting to go through my summer stuff to see what I have and what I want to purchase. Loving these two bathing suits, might be purchasing!! I already have my fedora and fun sandals ready to go!

I love these Betsy Johnson earrings, they are so fun, yet classy. This whole outfit makes me think of The Hamptons. I can totally see someone walking around West Hampton, doing brunch, then head to a croquet tournament in this Spring-like outfit.... ahhhh I miss the Hamptons! Back to real life.... you can wear this skirt to work with "work appropriate" heels, or take off the blazer and wear it on the weekend.

Love this LOFT Striped Flare Dress. You can wear it for a wedding or you can dress it down for lunch. I chose supercute wedges or loving those tassel sandals as your lunch option, depending if your running errands before/after. I kept the jewelry dressy and bright for a wedding option, and more simple for the lunch option. This past week, LOFT dresses were 40% off, so I'm going to wait until they have that sale again or similar, and def get this dress! You can totally dress this down even more with a light chambray shirt tied up, or dress this up even more with fun pearl bunched necklace! There's so many options with this dress!

This Spring, don't be afraid to rock a white blazer. I would wear this to dinner mostly. Simple reason being: out at a bar. drinks flowing. spilling. dancing. more spilling. you get the point. Sit down and sip your cocktail and not be afraid of the drunkard next to you will make a smooth move past you and stain that "used to be all white" blazer. Dinner item for sure! Loving this coral lace top from The Loft. Change the look with a different colored tank top underneath. Dress it down with a chambray top over it.

I have a few shirts in this mustard color and I was trying to think of new things to pair them with. Stripes came to mind, then I automatically thought of a bright red lip. Everything else just fell into place. I'm liking minimal makeup with a bright red lip these days. Not sure how much longer the red lip will be trending so I'm wearing it every chance I get.

Having kids and running from soccer game to Karate is no excuse for leaving the house in sweats and the T-shirt you slept in the night before. Yes, you can certainly go to Lululemon and find a cute workout outfit and wear that... but I like to give you the option to make it look like you put a little effort into it. This supercute parka from Zara will be your go-to this Spring season, pair it with some boyfriend jeans and fun flats and some jewels and poof! automatically own it! This tweed pencil skirt from Jcrew is on sale for $60. Another example that you can just add a chambray shirt and fun necklace and you are ready! I kept the shoes and purse dark, since I still should be styling for winter.

In hopes of Spring coming sooner than later, I found some items from JCrew that were on sale that had a Spring feel to them. This boucle skirt is from Forever21, for $9.99.... I couldn't believe it when I saw the price... then I found this super cute leopard purse. Trend it up with some chambray, add some bright red nails and some pearls and you are ready for your workday. This would look cute with a trench coat and rain boots for your commute too.

Totes are hot this season, and when I saw the RACHEL Rachel Roy "Totally Transparent Zip Top Tote" in the latest issue of InStyle, (available at Macy's.com with free shipping, other select handbags are on Sale 40% off) I just had to style it. 2 ideas that came to mind right away, one for work and one for weekend wear. With Spring around the corner, I chose a bright pink pencil skirt, and some floral heels. But, since it's the weekend and snow is everywhere, I kept it real and chose a turtleneck and boyfriend jeans. Keepin it simple, yet stylish with emerald Kendra Scott earrings.

Can't wait for the warmer weather..... as Spring approaches I'm loving bright jewel tones. I'm starting to wear them now, and just wearing darker accessories, darker layers and winter shoes. Then as it gets warmer (the groundhog did NOT see his shadow, YAY for warmer weather coming), I start peeling off the layers, wearing brighter accessories and peeptoe shoes! This is what I wore today to my first day of work.... I received an awesome necklace for my birthday, but decided to hold off on wearing it for my first day since it is leopard print! hehe BUT, you will be seeing it soon because I'm dying to wear it! I decided to go with pearls, since they are classy and a little more professional. But, showing up to work, everyone was dressed sort of different. My boss was in a suit, I wore this, my coworker wore a pencil skirt and peplum top, another manager wore server-type black shoes, nylons, black skirt and messy black shirt and another person wore a sweater dress.... So, I'm still trying to figure this place out. Hoping we get to participate in casual Friday's, fingers crossed. Excited for tomorrow!

Last night I had family and friends meets us for dinner and drinks for my birthday. It was such a good time and was much needed after a stressful week at work. It was also my last week working there. Since I was the birthday girl, I wanted to be on the dressier sided. I originally had cobalt blue crop pants, but it just didn't feel right. So, I chose my "never fail" red skinnies and sequin top and threw on my casual black blazer. An arm party and your favorite watch and you are ready for a night out!

In desperate need of a girls dinner night, so I threw this outfit together in hopes it will be happening soon! The shorts over tights is a funky look, that only some have the balls to pull off. Since a blazer is my thing, I added it to lighten up the color scheme and add some structure to the loose fitting blouse. Added some funky bangles and a warm pendant with smoky brown eyes, this makes it more playful. Hair in a bun makes it look so put together, beachy loose waves would be hot too.
