Floral Blazers are in right now and I like that this one isn't too busy.  Being a larger girl I don't like to wear a very loud print on top, this one is just right.  Pair it with a leather skirt and cute boots and you can take this from the office to happy hour.  Hope your Holidays are going awesome!!  Almost time to get back to the grind, enjoying my time off right now!!

For our last December linkup, what better way to bring in the New Year than with a Glamorous New Years Eve Party!  
I chose this peplum dress because it can be worn for many different occasions.  I'm all about getting double and triple use out of items.  Dress it up or down and for $80 from Zara last year, this is def a winner!  These fun lace booties are from The Loft and something about them screams sexy/fun.  I'm loving charcoal and mint together, the dark background really makes the jewelry pop. Add a smokey eye with some light sparkle (age appropriate) and you will be the HOT hostess that everyone wonders... "How does she do it?"

 You can even wear this dress to work, add a blazer and tights and work appropriate booties and statement necklace, G2G! (good to go).

Forever21 has some cute summer clothes right now and of course they are very wallet friendly too.  One thing that you have to be careful of is quality.  Sometimes I'm ok with buying cheap quality clothes, if I only plan on wearing them a couple times.  The "cost per wear" equals out, similar to an item I plan on keeping and wearing for a long time. This dress is $28.  How can you beat that?? If you wear it 3 times this summer the "cost per wear" is under $10, then you can transfer it to a beach coverup and wear it the whole month of August. (and longer if you are in the south and Cali.)
One way I would def wear this is for date night.  Pair it with cute casual wedges and simple jewelry and you are ready for dinner outdoors and a stroll by the water.

I'm baaaaaaaaack!  After a way too long hiatus, I'm back biatches!  Life happened, moving happened, unpacking happened, eh.... thank God things are finally slowing down.  

Now that the nice weather is finally here, all I can think about is tan shoes.  Tan wedges, tan booties, tan heels, love them all.  Here are some options that are hot right now.  I chose to highlight some dressy, some casual and some that can be used for both.  I ordered the Vince Camuto Lyssia's (middle left) and can't wait to get them.  They can be worn casually with shorts and a tank, or dressed up with a dress for work.  The Sam Edelman Kenya's are another pair that can be worn both ways.  The Seychelles pair are really just casual and the others are on the dressier side.

Saturday night I'm having a redo for my bday get together.  It got snowed out last month and I rescheduled for this Saturday night!  I'm excited for all my favorites to be together, minus a few that can't make it :(  I was thinking about wearing a LBD, but then I saw this cute romper from Lulu's and thought hmmmm this would be fuuuuuun!  So, if I go with this, this is how I'm going to style it.  Lately, I'm all about edgy rocker-ish type jewels, so these pieces from Stella & Dot are the perfect find!  and these pumps!?!!?! This jacket!?!??!  I die!!  Making plans to get together with some girlfriends for dinner and a movie.  I plan to throw a pair of boyfriend jeans in my bag to throw on after work.  This outfit is perfect to wear to work, with a pair of ponte pants, then throw on the jeans before I head out.

Love when there's no plans on the weekend and then hubby says get dressed, let's go for a coffee date, then who knows....  OK!  I'm down!  So, since it is the weekend, and I want to be comfortable but still look cute, these boots are just the thing.  I love the color, and that they have a wedge.  You can pair them with a cozy sweatshirt like I did here, or you can add a blouse and a statement necklace and you are instantly dressed up.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  
Ughhh back to work I go tomorrow, after about an 8 day break.  Not looking forward to getting up early, but I am excited to get up and get dressed for the day (as I sit here on my couch in my pajamas in the middle of the afternoon).  After over-eating during the holidays, I'm also excited to get back to eating clean and hitting up the box. (Crossfit gym)  With that said, I will be wearing some loose fitting outfits for the first couple of weeks until I get some weight off.  A loose fitting blouse and  stretchy pencil skirt it is!  Throw on a statement necklace and make it through your first day back!
