Saturday night I'm having a redo for my bday get together.  It got snowed out last month and I rescheduled for this Saturday night!  I'm excited for all my favorites to be together, minus a few that can't make it :(  I was thinking about wearing a LBD, but then I saw this cute romper from Lulu's and thought hmmmm this would be fuuuuuun!  So, if I go with this, this is how I'm going to style it.  Lately, I'm all about edgy rocker-ish type jewels, so these pieces from Stella & Dot are the perfect find!  and these pumps!?!!?! I can't even....  these are my next purchase!

This jacket!?!??!  I die!!  Making plans to get together with some girlfriends for dinner and a movie.  I plan to throw a pair of boyfriend jeans in my bag to throw on after work.  This outfit is perfect to wear to work, with a pair of ponte pants, then throw on the jeans before I head out.

Love when there's no plans on the weekend and then hubby says get dressed, let's go for a coffee date, then who knows....  OK!  I'm down!  So, since it is the weekend, and I want to be comfortable but still look cute, these boots are just the thing.  I love the color, and that they have a wedge.  You can pair them with a cozy sweatshirt like I did here, or you can add a blouse and a statement necklace and you are instantly dressed up.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  
Ughhh back to work I go tomorrow, after about an 8 day break.  Not looking forward to getting up early, but I am excited to get up and get dressed for the day (as I sit here on my couch in my pajamas in the middle of the afternoon).  After over-eating during the holidays, I'm also excited to get back to eating clean and hitting up the box. (Crossfit gym)  With that said, I will be wearing some loose fitting outfits for the first couple of weeks until I get some weight off.  A loose fitting blouse and  stretchy pencil skirt it is!  Throw on a statement necklace and make it through your first day back!

During the Holidays, hubby and I like to stop by friends houses for a visit.  Most of our friends have kids, so we usually are the ones to head to their house for a visit, instead of hosting.  I want to be cozy when I visit friends because I'm usually sitting on the floor playing with the kiddos, or rough housing with the family dog.  Simple sweater, skinnies and riding boots are the perfect combo for being casual, yet still looking put together (I have these riding boots and I highly recommend them, super comfy and perfect brown color).  Add some dangle earrings for a dressier look.

Christmas week, hubby and I are planning to have a date day in NYC and going to go check out the tree and Rockefeller Center.  I have a few things on my list on what I want to do, and most of it includes walking around everywhere.  So, heels are not an option.  I'm liking these flat over the knee black boots,  they are cute even though they don't have a heel.  Walking around the city, it's going to be chilly so a cute warm jacket and snood are a must.  Dressing the outfit up a bit with fun earrings.  Since I'm going to be covered up, no need to wear an arm party or necklace, for fear of them breaking or losing them.

Casual days in the office around the holidays allow me to rock some pants I normally wouldn't wear, other than the weekends.  I dressed up these Gap skinnies with a Stella & Dot statement necklace and a pair of leopard Nine West pumps.  I am really liking this Coach bag.  The studs give it a little more edge from the usual classic bags that Coach offers.  I'm adding this one to my wishlist!

Besides dark colors for Winter, I also like to wear light gray.  I usually pair it with darker colors, but today I decided to combine it with silver and stripes.  A pop of pink and statement necklace and you are ready to go.  If it's not warm enough to wear bare legs, you can add black opaque tights and booties instead.  I would wear this to work and to happy hour.

With the Holidays coming up, I'm slowly starting to think about what to wear to certain events/parties.  Mid Dec. I have my Holiday party at work.  It's from 5-9, so I will be going straight from the office.  I don't really want to wear a cocktail dress all day while sitting in front of a computer, and don't feel like bringing an outfit to change, that just sounds a little too high maintenance for me.  So, this black peplum top and mustard pencil skirt, (you can also wear a red pencil skirt if you want to feel more "tis the season") is perfect to wear from office to party.  I wouldn't change a thing. None of this changing out pieces stuff, strictly as is!

Saturday night we went out with friends and had a great time!  I wanted to be comfortable since it's getting cold out and I didn't feel like wearing pumps, so I started with the boots and worked my way up from there.  This striped top is from Loft and they had a sale going on 75% off yesterday.  I love this Stella & Dot tassle neckace and pair it with everything, it's the perfect subtle statement piece. The perfect pop of color is with this Jcrew factory purse.

The best trend right now is rocking an "arm party".  Meaning, pair a few, usually 2 or 3 bracelets on the same arm as your watch.  Stella & Dot have some great budget friendly options to add to your accessory collection (Even get them for free, if you host a trunk show!).  The Renegade bracelet is my absolute favorite and is a little bit rocker-ish, for that little added spunk to any outfit.  By the way, do you love this Coach purse!?!?! A few nights ago I went to a Stella & Dot jewelry party.  I loved a ton of pieces that Stella & Dot has, so much that I'm really thinking about becoming a stylist with them.  I purchased the "renegade" bracelet and can't wait until it's at my door!  I had about 10 other wishlist items that my Stylist took note of and is going to email my hubby my wishlist, so he can get me some things for Xmas and my bday in January.  I thought that was such a great idea!  This is also good if I become a S&D Stylist, I know exactly what I'm going to add to my collection to bring to trunk shows.  Anyway, I selected this fun red Stella & Dot statement necklace and cz studs to style for work with a fun striped skirt and black peplum top.
