I love it when guys go outside of the norm, and throw a little style into the mix.  These red boat shoes are perfect for a pop of color without thinking it's too much.  I paired them with some great shades; love this shape on guys, different then the aviators that everyone wears.  A casual polo and watch and you're set.

Love this summer tote bag from Fossil, you can pair it with practically anything.  I chose to style it with my go-to errand outfit.  When it's not "hot-as-balls" out, I like to wear my chambray, and found these fun sandals at the Nordstroms Sale.  Throw on some pink lipgloss, and you are ready to go pick up your Rx's, grocery shop, and meet a girlfriend for a coffee break!

Some of my lady friends are stay at home mom's and they have been spending their time at local lakes/beaches.  With that being said, I found the perfect bathing suit from the Nordstroms Anniversary Sale with a cute pair of lace shorts (from C.Luce) as a coverup.  You can be a supercute stylish mom even at the lake/beach.  This picnic bag is from PotteryBarnKids and I bought this a few weeks ago and can't wait to use it at our next outing.  A pair of killer shades and some studs and you are ready to go!

If I wasn't saving for our next trip, I would totally be purchasing a lot from the Nordstroms Anniversary Sale.  These statement leopard ankle strap heels would be the first thing in my shopping cart!  I def. would wear these to work, and I would pair it with a white blazer and white handbag for summer.  They are so versitile, you can wear them with skinny jeans, boyfriends jeans and short shorts for going out too.  Can't wait to pair them with darker bold colors in the Fall.

This outfit is a little bit corporate and a little bit rocker.  I love mixing pieces that are a little daring for my corporate workplace.  This Michael Kors Runway double strap watch is the perfect item to wear to make any boring outfit more fun.  I can see myself wearing this to work when I don't have any face-to-face meetings and will just be at my desk all day.  Comfortable wedges are another staple item when running around the office and they still look super cute!  This outfit would be perfect for teachers as well, and since school's out, I guess I'm talking about summer school haha.

Found this anchor rope bracelet online and loved the summer nautical feeling it had and couldn't wait to build an outfit around it.  Sometimes when getting dressed, I pick one statement piece and go from there.  Other times, it's shoes, or a shirt.  This bracelet was my main point of interest this time and thought a perfect striped shirt would pair perfectly.  I haven't ordered anything from Sole Society as of yet, but I'm dying to.  They have such great looking shoes that I'm dying to own.  A purchase might be in my near future.

A friend of mine is headed to Vegas to have a little fun girl time and that got me thinking what would be the perfect outfit to wear to one of the pool parties.  This one-piece from Nordstroms is super fun, sexy but still has a lot of coverage for those that aren't 100% for a two piece.  Add a statement necklace and a fun cover-up and you are ready to dance the day away, poolside with a cocktail in hand.  Throw your hair up in a bun for an easy out of your face style that still looks put together, no mater how hot/sweaty you get.

Found this Michael Stars Tee shirt with a tie hem in July's issue of InStyle and thought it would be perfect to style up or down.  Casual white crop jeans and cute sandals make this outfit perfect to run errands, pick up your kids from summer camp, and/or grocery shop.  
The Sole Society gray "pamelina" sandal is perfect for date night, or a night out with the girls.  Style it will a pair of boyfriend jeans and a funky necklace and statement watch and you are ready to go out.

Found this jumpsuit at zara.com and its supercute and great price at $70.  I styled it two ways, one for work and then you can totally dress this down for the weekend.  Throw on your pearls and you are work appropriate.  I added some funk with the leopard belt.  Some sandals and loving this anchor necklace for the weekend.

As part of my last few posts, I decided to put the boat shoes and men's weekender bag together for a travel day post.  Traveling this summer shouldn't be about sweatpants and t-shirts.  Guys can still look put together while on a plane, on a ferry, in a car, (you get the point).  Side note:  You want to go easy and classic on the accessories when you have a pop of color shoe.  So, I picked this classic silver Citizen watch for this outfit.

There comes a point in time when a guy can NOT rock a backpack while traveling.  I would say about 30yrs old.  At this time... you need to step it up and get something a little more sophisticated and age appropriate.  I found a bunch of nice ones at Zara and they range from $90 to $300 depending on your budget.  If you are just going away for the weekend and don't need your piece of luggage that rolls, and is huge, this is the perfect option to get.  This is a good investment piece that you will have for a long time and shows that you are more put together than the next guy.

As part of yesterday's post about Mens: boat shoes, I decided to put together an outfit with my favorite pair for hubby.  Gap really has some great things for guys right now.  I already bought these shorts for hubby's bday and he's been wearing them constantly.  This button up is perfect for summer, roll up the sleeves and it's a nice light material. A pair of aviators and a nice watch and you are ready to man the BBQ and play a round of Baggo with a beer in hand.

With the Nordstrom Half annual sale going on, I started to browse the Men's section for hubby.  When we were in The Cape, boat shoes were all the craze!  EVERYONE was wearing them, men, women, even kids.  I really started to like the look of them for spring/summer.  These are all from Nordy's and range from $85 to $200 depending on what your budget is.  My favorites are the red and navy Sperry Top-sider and the grey John Varvatos'.  I def see one of these pairs in hubby's future!

Our anniversary is Memorial Day weekend and we are heading to Cape Cod!  We're so excited to get away, much needed!  We're going to rent bikes to ride around Hyannis, maybe take the speed ferry to Nantucket for a day and eat some awesome seafood!! I'm starting to go through my summer stuff to see what I have and what I want to purchase.  Loving these two bathing suits, might be purchasing!!  I already have my fedora and fun sandals ready to go!

I love these Betsy Johnson earrings, they are so fun, yet classy.  This whole outfit makes me think of The Hamptons.  I can totally see someone walking around West Hampton, doing brunch, then head to a croquet tournament in this Spring-like outfit.... ahhhh I miss the Hamptons!  Back to real life.... you can wear this skirt to work with "work appropriate" heels, or take off the blazer and wear it on the weekend.

Love this LOFT Striped Flare Dress.  You can wear it for a wedding or you can dress it down for lunch.  I chose supercute wedges or loving those tassel sandals as your lunch option, depending if your running errands before/after.  I kept the jewelry dressy and bright for a wedding option, and more simple for the lunch option.  This past week, LOFT dresses were 40% off, so I'm going to wait until they have that sale again or similar, and def get this dress!  You can totally dress this down even more with a light chambray shirt tied up, or dress this up even more with fun pearl bunched necklace!  There's so many options with this dress!

Spring is a perfect time for guys to wear lighter materials and lighter colors.  This light blue and gray button down is perfect with a dark color of jeans.  Still loving the chukka boots, or you can also wear with gray driving loafers.  A hot pair of shades is all you need to make an outfit look put together.

After a much needed hiatus.... I'm back b*tches!  Looking forward to posting some awesome Spring pieces I have found.  Lots of bright color, structured pieces and items that def make a statement!  
This Spring, don't be afraid to rock a white blazer.  I would wear this to dinner mostly.  Simple reason being: out at a bar. drinks flowing. spilling. dancing. more spilling. you get the point.  Sit down and sip your cocktail and not be afraid of the drunkard next to you will make a smooth move past you and stain that "used to be all white" blazer.  Dinner item for sure!  Loving this coral lace top from The Loft.  Change the look with a different colored tank top underneath. Dress it down with a chambray top over it.

I have a few shirts in this mustard color and I was trying to think of new things to pair them with.  Stripes came to mind, then I automatically thought of a bright red lip.  Everything else just fell into place.  I'm liking minimal makeup with a bright red lip these days.  Not sure how much longer the red lip will be trending so I'm wearing it every chance I get.
